To many, London is the epicentre of chic and trendiness and thus, may seem not as appealing to children. Besides the studio sets of the Harry Potter films , London abounds with many kid-friendly attractions that the whole family can enjoy!

 


 

London Zoo

Opened in 1847, the London Zoo is not only the oldest scientific zoo in the world but also a great outing for the whole family. Featuring a huge variety of animals, including endangered Asiatic Lions, children can see all their favourite animals in real life while much learning fun facts the biosphere. The Penguin Beach Live and Giraffe High Tea is especially popular as you can see animals up close during feeding!

Active attractions also await kids who’d prefer activities over viewing animals! Various special zones (e.g. Tree Top Zone, Roots Zone, Splash Zone and the Touch Zone) are set up so children can experience life in different habitats. Together, they provided multi-sensory activities through which kids can explore the animal kingdom and create their own little adventures!

 


 

Hampton Court Palace Maze

Other than being a historic Royal building, the Hampton Court Palace  is home to England’s largest and oldest hedge maze. Covering a total of 800 meters in length, the maze is filled with fascinating twists and turns.  Perfect for the whole family to explore together!

Families with children can also opt for fun activities such as touring the Chocolate Kitchens, going on guided tours, and exploring the palace gardens.  With its rich history and lustrous gardens, the Palace is sure a fun way for kids to learn.

Let your little ones loose in this chocolate heaven! The M&M World  in London is the glorious candy-filled paradise your children has been dreaming of. Filled with every colour and flavour of the chocolate sweet that you can imagine, it is the largest candy store in Britain with over four floors of sweets piled all the way up to the ceiling.

The Lion King Show

Going to the theatre is a must try experience if you want to feel like a true Londoner, and the West End abounds with shows suitable for all ages. Currently, Disney’s Lion King is being showcased at the Lyceum Theatre, a musical classic first performed in 1999.

Your little ones would be mesmerised as they watch the Disney classic come alive on stage with award-winning costumes and choreography. The show features two and half hours worth of classic show tunes from the movie that the whole family would sure be able to sing along with! The show has one interval and welcomes children aged three and above.
