With October just around the corner, it will soon be time to dress up in scary customers and wander through the streets of London to celebrate the popular Halloween. London is no newcomer with respect to celebrating Halloween, with events planned for all tastes and wallets. Here are but a few choice events that we have selected…….
1)Pumpkin carving at The Prince
Pumpkins and Halloween go hand in hand when celebrating this popular occurrence. In Southwest London’s The Prince is planning a pumpkin carving party on 28 October, complete with Halloween-themed beverages and food. Dressing up in a customer is highly appreciated to add to the Halloween atmosphere, and each attendee will have the opportunity to create their own Halloween pumpkin using free pumpkins and carving tools. Also included in the ticket price is a cocktail and delicious pumpkin-spiced popcorn.

2)Halloween plays at the Painted Hall
The Old Royal Naval College is presenting a series of Halloween themed plays in the very very spooky Painted Hall after dark. A wide range of scary ghost stories , plus live music and great food will be highlighted at the Painted Hall Cafe. Tickets also include complimentary mulled wine at the Old Brewery and an annual pass to the Old Royal Naval College.

3)Halloween Party at Sumosan Twiga
Best known for its unique Japanese and Italian menu and glamorous atmosphere, Sumosan Twiga will host a Halloween weekend festival where staff will be attired in creepy costumes for the Halloween occasion, while serving guests a selection of theatrical cocktails. Starting on Friday October 30th, there will be live DJ music while on Saturday October 31st the Allegria Brunch will offer performances from Latin dancers and award prizes for guests having the best costumes.

4) Halloween party at Skylight Rooftop
The east London rooftop bar Skylight will be throwing a Halloween party complete with very scary decor, fiendish drinks and great live DJs. With COVID guidelines in mind groups of six guests can sit in realistic pumpkin-themed igloos, creating an appropriate socially-distanced bubble. Alternatively, you can book a normal covered table with heating. Just to add to the fun guests who dress up with costumes will have a great chance to win prizes for their efforts.

5)Highgate Cemetery Tour
Halloween would not be Halloween if there wasn’t a cemetery involved. For those creepy horror lovers, spending Halloween in a cemetery is the perfect setting for the ghoulish Halloween. Even for the less ghoulish inclined north London’s Highgate Cemetery is well worth a visit because of the long list of famous and infamous figures buried there!!!
