Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace has been around since before Queen Victoria’s Reign, making it rich in England’s culture and history. The palace was once planned to be knocked down but was saved by Queen Victoria under the promise that parts of the palace would be turned into a gallery and museum. As well as being a museum, the Palace has been home to many members of the royal family including the late Princess Diana. It is currently home to Prince William and Kate Middleton, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

It is nearby to Hyde Park and other museums, such as the Natural History Museum. Kensington Palace showcases many different exhibitions that alternate at certain times, but it also holds permanent exhibitions including The Kings State Apartments which features many historical paintings and sculptures. You can purchase tickets for the palace online but be sure to plan ahead as they tend to sell out rather quickly, but are a cheaper rate than buying at the gate. For more pricing and exhibition details check out the palace’s website here.
