With the summer holidays having concluded, visitors to London in September would not only find the city less crowded, but also more tranquil. Buckingham Palace Tour<\/h3>\n

Despite being the official residence of the Queen, Buckingham Palace opens its doors to the public annually and 2017 is no exception. Though the tour had started in July, the editors at london.com recommend you visit the Palace\u2019s lovely State Rooms and Royal Collection\u2019s treasures without the summer crowds, as it remains open through all of September.<\/p>\n

Londinium<\/h3>\n

Trace London\u2019s history to its Roman roots with the Londiuim event. Like the Buckingham Palace above, the event started in July, but crowds are smaller in September and October and so, this is the better time to visit. From gladiator games to historic talks, from films to archaeological tours, Londiuim abound with activities for all fans of Roman history.<\/p>\n

Open House London<\/h3>\n

Open House London brings free access to hundreds of iconic architectural locations detailing the city\u2019s culture. So check out the churches, museums, public buildings, private houses, schools and offices and more, with tours and guided walks also available. Most importantly, some of the locations open do not allow during the Open House access at other times, so don\u2019t miss the 2-day event from lasting from the 16th to the 17th of September.<\/p>\n

Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains<\/h3>\n

As the American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow so eloquently stated, music is the universal language of mankind. So, while high culture is undoubtedly fascinating, the Pink Floyd exhibition is undoubtedly an integral part of London\u2019s history. With more than 350 of the band\u2019s pieces exhibited, the Pink Floyd Exhibition is not one you should miss, especially if you have also seen London\u2019s other celebrity-based attractions. From exclusive memorabilia to handwritten lyrics and original posters, the Victoria and Albert Museum host this and more from London\u2019s beloved rock band.<\/p>\n
