House Of Fraser

Founded in Glasgow in 1849 by Hugh Fraser and James Arthur, House of Fraser has 36 branches across the UK, including 9 in London and branches in Ireland and Dubai. Their London City Store on King William St. opened in 2003.

The store features over 1000 brands across all departments, mostly featuring mid-range brands like French Connection, Oasis and Guess, with a few higher end designers sprinkled in between such as Aquascutum and Hugo Boss.
The Oxford Street location may get really busy during weekends and around the holidays so it’s best to arrive at off-peak hours to shop to your heart’s content. Nearby attractions include Hyde Park and Selfridges to the west, Regent Street and Soho to the south, and British Museum to the east.

The store is open on bank holidays, to get there, travel by Underground to Oxford Circus Station via the Bakerloo, Central or Victoria line.
